About Vera Verba
The mission of Vera Verba publications is to publish books that make people think. This includes publishing new books that will inspire you to think about new ideas, and republishing the old books that have inspired people for a long time.
The Vera Verba Blog exists as an ongoing attempt to decipher and defuse the doublespeak, dogmatic rhetoric, and mindless slogans that often stop people from thinking. This is the BS that is directed at all of us through all sorts of media; every minute of every day of every year. We will attempt to field it as it comes and translate it by splitting it into is component parts: what is actually being said, what is being implied, and how it may influence people’s thoughts and actions.
Additionally, this blog is a vehicle for whatever barstool rant one of our authors happens to be on about at any given moment.
